OFFICER ARRESTED FOR DEFILING A SECONDARY SCHOOL STUDENT IN A CELL
The officer, Jared Okada, was apprehended by detectives who had been following him after being sighted at his hideout on Monday evening, according to Peter Mbua, the head of Nandi South police, who confirmed the arrest.
Arrested is a police officer who allegedly defiled a high school student while under arrest at the Kaptumo Police Station in Nandi County, after which the officer vanished.
The officer, Jared Okada, was apprehended by detectives who had been following him after being sighted at his hideout on Monday evening, according to Peter Mbua, the head of Nandi South police, who confirmed the arrest.
Okada was charged with a miscellaneous offense on Tuesday and was detained by the police while additional inquiries were conducted. He entered a plea against the charge in a Kapsabet court.
