This comes after their Monday night meeting with President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda.
Onyonka stated that the Kenyan political elite must understand that they cannot survive on hatred during a Tuesday appearance on Citizen TV.
"This is what statesmanship is all about; I would like to give President William Ruto the credit he deserves." It's not a winner-take-all game in politics. He declared, "Politically, this is a smart move.
"We tend to forget that Ruto, Raila, Kalonzo, Musalia, and Wetangula have been allied for the past thirty years, and eventually they band together to take actions that benefit the nation."
He went on to say that Kalonzo should take advantage of Raila's candidacy for the AU post to begin organizing for his 2027 presidential campaign.
His comments followed Monday's talks in Uganda between Ruto, his Ugandan counterpart Yoweri Museveni, and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
On their social media page, the three were seen talking while strolling through a field in the photographs that were posted.
Additionally, footage of Ruto and Raila conversing was recorded.

We also talked about my candidacy for Chairperson of the African Union Commission, which was encouraged by President Yoweri Museveni. Raila stated on X, "I am really appreciative of President Museveni's and President Ruto's robust endorsements of my candidacies.
