"Those who looted during Tuesday's protests were not Gen Z" Raila

Raila Odinga, the leader of Azimio, has stated that the youth who started the rallies were not the ones who stole during Tuesday's violent riots.
According to Raila, the peaceful protests that young Kenyans began on Tuesday as a way of expressing their disapproval of the administration turned violent and chaotic.
According to the head of Azimio, the scenes of looting, vandalism, and robbing were not the same as what was seen during the beginning of the Gen Z protests.
"People who were not the Gen Z that started the initial protests hijacked it, looted businesses, attacked innocent Kenyans and destroyed critical infrastructure," Raila claimed.
According to the ODM leader, the youth who instigated the protests were determined to address the inequalities that exist in the nation.
He continued by saying that the Gen Zs were attempting to teach Kenyans that protests may be calm, nonviolent, and still accomplish their desired objectives.
In certain regions of the nation, innocent ladies are reportedly being harassed and defiled, according to Raila.
He denounced the acts of violence directed towards the demonstrators and business owners during the demonstrations on Tuesday.
According to the head of Azimio, there has been a double betrayal of the youth by purported thugs who took over the protests and transformed it into chaos targeting Kenyans.
"We need to put an end to these rude people," Raila continued.
Raila went on, "We need to stop the bad manners."
According to Raila, the coalition still expects security personnel to be courteous and responsible.
"I extend deep sympathy to the families who've suffered in the hands of looters posing as Gen Z protesters, innocent people who've seen their business premises broken into, their products looted and who now face the reality of being worse off than before the protests."
The violence that was observed during the protests on Tuesday has been denounced by leaders.
In order to present a negative image of the ongoing demonstrations, they asserted that accused goons infiltrated the nonviolent gatherings and caused violence.
The majority of the illegal activities committed by roving groups of people posing as protestors targeted stores, supermarkets, eateries, and commercial booths.
